WOW, this was really cool! Rob and Megan invited myself and Kris to Chicago for the weekend of July 21st. Rob signed us up for these dragon boat races in Chinatown. It was a community outreach with his church. There are 22 people in each boat. One drummer, one flag grabber (also know as the death defying stunt devil), and 20 slaves...I mean people rowing. Megan was the drummer and myself and Rob were slaves. We had a blast! We were expected to lose and go home right away...but with the strength of Rob and the smarts of myself we won 2 races before being eliminated by the eventual champs. We spent the rest of our afternoon and Sunday seeing what Chicago has to offer. We had a great time and with it being Kris' last weekend to travel it was time well spent.
