$1 night at the ball park!

The Iowa Cubs had a $1 night a few weeks ago - general admission seats for $1 at the ball park.. and it was an earlier evening game too. We thought, for a dollar, we can "try it out" with Jake along! He did great last year at the ball game we went to with him, but this year is obviously a little different now that he can run! He did so well and we had so much fun! He adored the mascot Cubby Bear and wanted to high - five him over and over and over and protested when I told him that Cubby Bear needed to go high five someone else. :) (Is this really my kid?!?! I don't think I would have gone near Cubby Bear when I was little!!) Then it was onto the inflatible pizza man- we had to high five him over and over and over. I have to admit, it was adorable. Oh, and the ball game? He actually watched a little bit.. the batter would hit the ball and we would hear "WWOOAAHHHH!" as the ball went up. We had a great time and are looking forward to a few more $1 nights this summer!
