We had a great weekend this past weekend with lots of friends visiting! On Thursday, my friend Lori drove all the way from Lincoln, NE with her son Caleb (born in January) and stayed until Friday. We had a good time hanging out here at our place!! Friday night was fun hanging out with new friends from church, Joel and Nicole who brought over supper. (YUM!!!) Saturday, friends Lisa & Mike (from Omaha) and Sarah & Nathaniel (from Cedar Rapids) came over to our place to see Jake. Sarah and Nathaniel brought their Nintendo Wii... so fun! It was great to see a lot of people - we love having visitors!! Every day seems to go by so quickly! And Jacob has already now outgrown his newborn clothes! He's so much fun - we're now seeing more expressions on his face every day - especially when Josh entertains him. Somehow, he doesn't find me to be as amusing.. go figure!! We've gotten in a couple short walks this week too - I'm trying to take advantage of the good weather while it lasts.
