Okay, so the pictures above are from probably 2 weeks ago or so.. hopefully I will put newer pictures on the computer from the camera tomorrow. But I didn't want to disappoint our faithful readers by not posting more adorable pictures! I weighed Jacob today with diaper, onesie, and socks on (once again, didn't want to disturb the sleepy child) and he was 12 lbs 1 oz! Hopefully I can get an accurate length and weight measurement next week at the doctors office. He's going to go in for his 2 month shots!!! I'm not really looking forward to that. I'm sure he wouldn't be either, but I haven't told him yet. Shhhhh!! Hopefully his easy going nature will get us through that!

I have looked at 2 daycare centers and Josh and I went to meet one in-home provider so far. I don't know what to think. I'm being picky. I am not completely excited about any of the options so far. (They definitely all have pros and cons) I don't want to have to send him to daycare all day. I never thought I'd want to stay home with a baby all the time, but right now I love it!!!! But I know that for now I have to decide on a daycare for him. I'm hoping to decide within the next week so that I can guarantee he'll have a spot.

Josh is still going to physical therapy for his ankle (which he sprained badly a few weeks ago.) They encouraged him to go to basketball tonight, but not to play - to run up and down the side of the court a little bit. They told him that he may be able to play next week. After he got home tonight, he said he wasn't sure how he was going to be able to play already next week. Hopefully it will be good enough soon--I know he wants to play!

In other Josh news- he got accepted to DMACC for this coming January! He is probably going to start taking some classes part time- evenings, weekends, or online. Eventually, he will probably end up going to Iowa State. His goal right now is to get a Business/Finance degree. So he'll definitely be keeping busy!

Jacob is finally asleep now. That means I get to go to bed now too.
