We got back tonight from our week long vacation to Kansas City, North Carolina, and Florida! We have tons of pictures from our trip, but I thought I'd back up a few weeks first so I could put up a few older pictures and post vacation pictures in my next entry! A few weeks ago, Jacob and I took a trip to Sioux Center to have a surprise birthday party for my mom! Josh couldn't make it because he had to work that Saturday. We had a lot of fun! Jacob did pretty well on all of the trips we've done this past month! He's been growing so fast and moving around a lot more. He still isn't crawling, but he rolls around to get his toys. He absolutely loves walking with our help and standing up by the couch, the coffee table, his toys, etc. He has even turned around (in a standing position) holding onto something a few times. He would would walk, stand, or jump all day if we let him! I'm quite sure that he's getting more teeth now as well. It's been several months since his first ones appeared, and he's definitely doing a lot of drooling and biting. His other new thing is picking up his gerber puffs with his thumb and index finger and feeding himself. We bought some for the first time last week and he mastered eating them within a few days. Jacob loved his first trip to the park! He giggled and giggled on the swing. He liked the giant tic-tac-toe and riding down the slide on my lap!

And finally..one of the many reasons I love my husband... he puts a smile on my face... and on my sandwich.
