Summer weekends!

We've been busy lately taking trips and being sick. The trips are great- the sick..not so much! Everyone is well and home now, though, so I thought I'd finally give an update with a few pictures.

Fourth of July weekend, we went to Kansas City and had lots of fun! Most of the Reichert side of the family was there and Jake got to meet a lot of great uncles, aunts, and Josh's cousins! Unfortunately, my camera batteries died almost right away, so I only have one picture.. two of Josh's cousins showering Jacob with attention! :) (If anyone has pictures to share from the weekend, email them on over!) We had a great time spending time with family and lots of fun going to the Bodies Revealed museum exhibit as well as a baseball game! Josh's family even made a beanbag toss game - so fun! It was great to see everyone!

Just chillin' together...

This past weekend, my brother, Rob, and his wife, Megan were coming through our area on their way to Sioux Center for a wedding. Jake and I ended up riding with them up there and hanging out for the weekend. We even went to the zoo on Saturday.. it was so much fun - Jake didn't know what to think at first, but he ended up having tons of fun!

This next picture was taken in the monkey house... he was so excited!

We finished off with a train ride and Jacob enjoyed crackers and grandma's lap!
