I realized tonight that I hadn't uploaded the pictures from our camera in over a month! We are definitely getting used to the busyness of having a toddler! Jacob has so much energy, it's unbelievable. On top of the energy, he's very curious! He loves to explore everything...everywhere we go. He's always opening doors, cupboards, drawers, etc. He also loves to walk. I take him to the mall every once in a while and just let him walk down to one end of the mall and back. I let him go at his pace and I walk next to him. He loves to look around and it's a good way to use up some of that energy! We have so much fun but I'm always worn out by the time he goes to bed!
Here are some good pictures from the past month... they are in backwards order.. the first one is earlier tonight.
He's very persistent about trying to open these types of doors. These are the type that he hasn't mastered yet.. but he has mastered locking them from both sides! He locks the lock on the inside and also from the outside.. (it can be easily unlocked by sticking a coin or table knife in it thankfully!!!) He does open doors that have the handle bars on the knobs... we found this out at our Thursday evening music time in West Des Moines!

"Mommy, can I have this apple?"

First time trying a whole, peeled apple! Dressed up in his costume before we left for our playgroup today!

I didn't know if I was going to bother with a costume for him this year. I got this at a garage sale for $1 this past summer, thinking that if we dressed him up, this would be a fun costume... it actually fit him quite well! My little Tigger...

He loves to talk on the phone... or at least pretend to!

The smaller of the Michigan fans in our house..

I love this smile!

Mr. Mischief doing what he does best!

Getting ready for bed...

Jake hadn't worn footie pajamas since last year. He tried pretty hard to get them off his feet when we first put them on him again! He tugged at his sleeves a lot too when we first started putting long sleeves on him when the colder weather hit!
