Hi!

"Hi!!" seems to be Jake's favorite thing to say. He cracks us up... he says hi all the time! He will look at someone and say "hi!!" and expect it in return. If you do not say "hi" back to him, he will persist and say it again. If you fail to say it yet again, he will say "hi! hi!! hi!!!" until you say it back to him. When he gets a "hi" in return, he flashes a grin and goes on with his day. It makes me laugh just typing about it now!

Another cute thing lately is his smooching.. everything and everyone! He "blew kisses" by putting his hand on the side of his head up until lately. Last week, when we went out to supper with my mom in Ames (she was around for a work related thing) he started blowing actual kisses the "normal" way. He also enjoys planting kisses on people and objects. I babysit 2 days a week...this week, Jacob started looking at the little guy, saying "beh beh" (baby) and kissing him gently on the face. He also kissed another random child in the middle of the room at the Baby Signs class at the library Monday night, making everyone there laugh. He was crazy about kissing one of the little girls about his age at his playgroup today. When we were at the store earlier, he picked up my hand off of the cart handle and kissed the top of it just like a gentleman. It was so stinkin' cute!! He's also been kissing the pictures of animals in his books, his stuffed puppy, and other random things.. I think the weirdest kiss today was his clothes hamper. I couldn't help but laugh at that!
