Jacob and I have been staying inside most of the week this week. The temperatures here have been below zero, so we're enjoying the heat on inside. I can tell he's starting to get a little restless though! Thankfully, we'll head out tomorrow morning and do the childcare for a Bible study at church. (We have Bible study every other friday and there is another group that meets on the opposite Fridays and we take turns taking care of the kids from the other group!)
Here are some recent pictures from the holidays!
We took a trip to my Uncle Marlin's farm in NW Iowa. Jake loved seeing all of the animals!
Getting pulled around the snow on the sled!
Playing outside with daddy!

Unfortunately for my parents, the plows shoved a huge pile of snow into their front yard. Fortunately for Jacob, there was a fantastic snow mountain in grandpa and grandma's front yard to sled down!

Opening presents with Uncle Rob!!
Checking out the new trike! Notice the tongue sticking out...it was out almost the entire time we opened presents, making motor sounds. Hence the reason his shirt was soaked on his chest.
This is what weekends look like when I'm at work.. or so I'm told! :)
Updating the blog, of course! (or maybe just playing at www.kneebouncers.com)
He's climbing on everything lately! He likes to push things around to use as stepping blocks to be able to climb on everything. He got a blue beanbag chair for Christmas that has come in handy for that very purpose... He also has taken on a new job -- unloading the bottom rack of the dishwasher. I unload most of the dishwasher, but save the plates and bowls from the bottom rack for him to help with. He takes so much pride in helping out..and always beams as he hands me the plates and bowls from the dishwasher! He loves to help!
