On this date last year...

I've been really bad about taking pictures lately! I don't know why, but I don't get my camera out nearly as often. Probably because I'm too busy trying to keep up with Jake to think about taking pictures! So, I decided to post a picture from a year ago today... it seems like it wasn't all that long ago when I look at the picture!


We've still been getting so much cold weather and are really anxious to get outside!! I even went ahead and bought a zoo membership through the Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines this year. I got a slight discount through my work and we got a family + 2, which means that we can get 2 others in for no extra charge too! We can get into a lot of zoos (see link) at no charge with this membership and a few have a "reduced rate." (ie: Omaha) I'm excited to take Jake again now that he knows many of the animals and what they say! :)
