It's been almost 3 months since I've updated here! We have been busy, but that's still no excuse. I wish I could put some new pictures on here, but right now our laptop is still not being cooperative, so I am on our old desktop right now, hopefully will upload pictures soon!
Since I've last blogged..
Jacob turned 2, started talking A LOT, I started babysitting another little boy (so that's 2 boys now!) from church, we took a trip on Labor Day weekend to NW Iowa and Sioux Falls and got to go to falls park (for the first time since we took wedding pictures there 5 years ago!) and Lifelight Festival as well as visit my parents, took a trip to Kansas City and had a fun time at a pumpkin patch with Josh's parents..also carved pumpkins and Jake got his first pony ride! After a long summer with a lot of my issues with lightheadedness, heat exhaustion, and all that good stuff, we have spent a lot of time outside going to the park, for bike rides, walks to the pond by our neighborhood, and playing outside in our driveway. Josh even built a sandbox in the garage with my brother-in-law Steve. It has wheels with brakes on the bottom so we can pull it out to the driveway or play in the garage! (Yes, we keep it in the garage since we can't keep stuff like that outside by our townhouse!) Josh has been busy playing flag football and basketball. My new "hobby" is couponing and bargain shopping. I've always been thrifty (ie: I love garage sale shopping, clearance deals, coupons, etc.) but I have taken it to the next level by surfing coupon blogs and finding deals for SUPER cheap and often free on groceries and other items. I will certainly post more about that later. For now, I just wanted to write something on here since I've been claiming for a few weeks that I would post pictures... they will come soon!
