It's hard to believe it's been 5 years since we got married! To celebrate, we went to Kansas City and left Jake with Josh's parents and stayed in a hotel for a night. We had a fun day together the next day checking out some good KC barbeque, looking at art, seeing a movie, getting a massage, and having a fantastic fondue dinner at The Melting Pot. (a nice surprise from Josh's parents- thanks!!)
My little mama's boy had no problem being left at grandpa and grandma's house for the night. Instead of clinging to us when we were leaving. he casually said bye and went back to hanging out with grandpa and grandma. :o)
