On to more exciting news...
Kris had surgery today on her ear. Now the next time you see her please don't stare! No really she did a great job and everything looks great! She had a couple tiny minuscule bumps on her ear since birth and according to the doctor they could at sometime become cancerous, but not the fatal ear fall off kind, thankfully. She had them removed as a precaution.
Sorry to anyone looking for a cool picture of say Evander Holyfield after he got his ear bit off by Mike Tyson. I couldn't find one anywhere.
Everything else seems to be going fine.
If you can think of a cool place within 5 hours of Des Moines to take a nice weekend getaway for a family let me know. Make sure you have pictures and graphs and charts, explaining why we should pick your location. We will pick a winner and give them nothing. Well maybe we will mention it in our blog.

Aunt Marsha! We would consider coming out there sometime later in the year, but I was asking for suggestions in the area for just a weekend getaway. And no you can't keep Jake for a month...maybe a night or 2...just at night!
