Jacob is now getting his second tooth! I just noticed it after church today. They are sharp little buggers! He likes to chew on our fingers.... and you can really feel them!
My parents were here this weekend for a really quick visit and we got to see my dad's pictures from his trip to Africa! They were really fascinating and we enjoyed being able to hear about his trip. It's amazing how little many of those people have, but they seemed so giving. My dad and the guy he was traveling with received a lot of different gifts at the villages such as bananas, rice, a goat, chickens, etc. It's so hard to imagine what it would be like to live in a place like that when we are so used to all of the conveniences we have!
Between having a stuffy nose and those teeth poking through, Jacob did not sleep well at all last night again. So, that means I didn't either! I stopped counting how many times he was up by 3 a.m. and I was up to 10. Hopefully this is very temporary as his teeth are coming through, because I'm sure it's no fun for him to be so restless and I know I'd really appreciate even a 3 hour stretch of sleep.
