Teething bites. Literally.

Jacob has two teeth that are already through and we didn't have a whole lot of trouble with those. I don't see any more getting close to coming through yet, but I could be wrong, since he has been crabby and biting everything in site. I'm sure the poor guy is in a lot of pain! It has not exactly been a 100% pleasant week. Don't get me wrong, we still get our giggles and smiles, but they are now mixed with whimpers and cries. We do our best to try to make him feel better with Baby Orajel and lots of hugs and kisses. He even enjoys a good foot massage. Yes, I give him foot massages and he loves it. I think it feels good after jumping in his jumperoo!

Other news...Josh got me a sewing machine for my birthday! I'm so excited to learn how to use it! It'll probably be a week or two before I can get it all out and start experimenting because of my new job and training, but I already have a few ideas of things I want to make! It came with an instructional DVD which is GREAT because I hate reading manuals and it's been years since I've touched my mom's sewing machine. I think I was probably 12 the last time I did.

I start training for my new job tomorrow morning. I will be training until at least next week and maybe into the next week. I think I already mentioned this, but I will be doing every 2nd to 3rd weekend as an ICU/ER Social Worker at a hospital. Jacob will be going to an in-home daycare of a lady from church.
