I tried to post last night, but the video I was trying to upload caused the post to somehow "freeze" so I will just go with a few pictures! Jacob has mastered crawling and gets around the house very quickly! We have to keep a close eye on him.. we still have a little bit of babyproofing to do. He also gets himself up into a standing position now by hanging onto the couch, his crib, the windowsill, his toys, you name it, he'll try it! He looks so proud of himself when he does too, it's pretty funny! I bought him a cheap (spent a whopping $1.50 on it) blue plastic ball last week at Hy-Vee that he had been admiring from the cart and he loves chasing it around the house! When we ask him "where's the ball?" he will crawl to it and will say "bah" for ball! Smart kid! :) His other excitement lately is opening and closing cupboards, drawers, the fridge, and the microwave.
He loves his crib mobile so much...it will be sad to take it down.. but I think we'll have to do it soon since he stands up and pulls on it.. hard! He loves his little orange monkey friend. :)

He loves to hold my keys! When we are going to go somewhere and I have my keys in hand, he always tries to grab them and gets upset when I have to take them back to drive!

Caleb can seriously spend hours at the mircrowave, opening and closing it. It must be a boy thing...
It must be.. it's so much more entertaining than any toy we've ever bought him! :)
